made a ton of new friends at POPNYE, & of all the kandi I got that night, this was my favorite. at that moment, i realized why i called this place home. where i felt more love in this crowd than i’ve felt in 5 years in my own home. this was from a guy who took care of me, got me water, massages, and was probably just the friendliest soul. & this is why i love electronic music. why i love this culture. why this music saved my life. even though you know you are loved, this is a place where you feel accepted, a place where you belong, a place you feel nothing but euphoria. this is more than just my happy place, this is the place call home. music that always lifts my spirits. it’s not about the drugs, the alcohol, the skimpy clothes, but ultimate freedom & liberation. PLUR <3

& after so many years, we’ve made contact again :) too bad raves aint the saaaaame anymore 🤷🏽‍♂️
